Professional Referral Program

Part of the success of our libraries has been loyal member support.

Members have told their colleagues. Consultants have recommended us to their clients. Some companies have incorporated library membership into the packages they offer. Others have taken us with them as they moved from one company to another.

We are truly grateful for our members support.

To demonstrate our gratitude, we established a referral program some years ago. Although successful, we noticed that not all members were using it. So we sat down with some of our members that we knew were providing referrals and asked why they were not using the program.

We learned from those discussions. As a result, we now have an expanded and improved program.

Highlights of the Professional Referral Program:

  • All members (library members, directory members, consulting clients) have been assigned a Professional Referral Code (PRC).

  • Members can use the Member Account area to edit/change their PRC.

  • By clicking on the 'EMAIL A FRIEND' links located throughout the Libraries and Directories, members send email forms to colleagues informing them of the various features and benefits of membership.

  • Referral colleagues are instructed to enter the member's PRC in the Referral Code box on the sign-up form. By doing so, a discount off the normal purchase price (of whatever they are purchasing - library membership, directory listings, advertising ) is awarded to the purchasing colleague.

  • The amount of the discount is dependent on the history / level of the member and any special promotions at the time of purchase.

  • For each dollar purchased using the member PRC, that member will receive LAD$ ( Libraries and Directories, Dollars ) which can be used for future purchases.

  • Members log into the Member Account area to view both the percentage discounts they can offer and the percentage that will be used to calculate their LAD$.

This is just another example of how we are continually trying to serve our members better.
